Honestly, I expected much more from The Uprising. The concept is strong and the cast is great, but the shaky camera became distracting and the story gets messy. It starts like a serious historical rebellion movie and then takes some strange turns. Not terrible, just disappointing.

The Uprising surprised me. Andrew Garfield is really good, and the whole movie has this raw, dirty and intense atmosphere. The action feels brutal and the rebellion keeps things moving. Not perfect, but definitely worth watching if you enjoy gritty historical dramas.
