Good performances and some genuinely powerful moments, but The Uprising feels uneven. The first half had me completely invested, while the Robin Hood connection and the final act didn't work as well for me. Still, the scale and action make it an interesting watch.

The Uprising surprised me. Andrew Garfield is really good, and the whole movie has this raw, dirty and intense atmosphere. The action feels brutal and the rebellion keeps things moving. Not perfect, but definitely worth watching if you enjoy gritty historical dramas.
